What can you expect from ALS in 2023?

Without sounding like I’m about to break out into Frank Sinatra, 2022 was a very good year for Alexander Lyons Solutions. Not only did we take on new members of staff and branch out into new specialisms, but we also grew our name presence in the market. In addition, we welcomed our new chairman, Anthony Mowatt, whose wealth of experience as an entrepreneurial investor will be pivotal to our continued growth. You may also have seen me make my television debut on Euronews TV talking about the Great Resignation and featuring in various print interviews with the likes of The Lawyer and OnRec. All in all, we’re hugely proud of everything we’ve accomplished as a business over the past 12 months.

But enough about the past. Now, it’s time to look towards the future – specifically, what we have planned for 2023. Naturally, our continued expansion will be a key focus over the course of this year, and we aim to grow our employee headcount even further. We pride ourselves on our commitment to taking care of the recruiters who come to work for us, and this will remain central to our vision going forward. We will be continuing to fly the flag for working from anywhere, and this is just one of the many things that we offer that empower our staff, giving them autonomy to choose how, when, and from where they want to carry out their jobs.

Growing our client base is also a primary goal for us in 2023, and we will continue to build up a core group of good billers. With many legal professionals swapping traditional firms for consultancies that afford them a better work/life balance, we will be helping more lawyers to make the move over to consultancy. The fact that we believe so strongly in the ‘work from anywhere’ concept makes us all the more committed to helping candidates get into roles that are not only rewarding and befitting their talents, but also give them more time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. With work from home becoming increasingly normal for workers, we are bound to see many more lawyers making the switch to consultancy this year.

To sum it all up, we will continue to build upon our winning formula, which goes beyond merely doing what it says on the tin. Recruitment is truly in our blood, and we feel passionate about what we do. As such, you’ll be hearing much more from us in the coming months, as we continue to spread our message and explain what we’re about. There’s even talk of a YouTube blog, so keep your eyes peeled for that! With so much on the horizon, 2023 is shaping up to be the best year yet for ALS.
